So about a month ago I had the wild idea to solo a project for the 2022 Amare Jam, with no prior Ren'Py or Phython experience.

The Amare Jam's purpose is to showcase different kinds of relationships than you usually see in visual novels. It was from that purpose that the idea of a visual novel about a past relationship (but also exploring a strange new one) could be an interesting starting point.

I burned a lot of oil in the first half of April, and had to scale back my plans a bit. However, I want to see this through to a full-fledged game. Eventually. It will take a lot of time and effort and probably some funding. But that's a problem for future me. Today, I'm just happy that I released my first visual novel (demo), in a short turn-around period, and it's alright.
